This article based on domestic self-lubricating bearings and overview of the development of test equipment proposed composite swing joint bearing performance test machine, and carry out the detailed design of the testing machine, calculation, installation, and commissioning work, through a type of self- lubricating bearings for friction and wear performance test to verify the test machine performance, this model also discussed joint bearing wear mechanism. The main research work is as follows: For the composite swing, high frequency, heavy self-lubricating bearings under conditions of friction and wear performance, service life and reliability of the design of the testing machine program, which implements joint bearing composite swing, breaking the current reported joint bearing testing machine wobble frequency does not exceed the limit of 1Hz to solve the wobble frequency and contact pressure can not raise conflicts. Draw a testing machine assembly diagram and drawings of each part of the process to complete the testing machine powertrain, loading system and the measuring system installation and commissioning work. Through simulation and performance tests on the test machine main parameters of the error analysis, the results showed: These parameters relative errors are less than the current literature, or equivalent, to meet the test requirements of precision. Meanwhile measurement repeatability of test data and test machine for different joint bearing friction and wear tests were evaluated for effectiveness, proven high repeatability of the test machine, and can be of different test pad bearings.
